In October, we began adding a large selection of new products to our website from a wonderful range of Amish builders. Each of these new furniture makers is from the Amish communities of Ohio and Indiana. We would like to introduce you to each of these manufacturers and the pieces they are known for making.
Barkman Furniture – Ohio
Barkman Furniture has been dedicated to building the finest quality hardwood furniture and accent pieces, using a careful blending of generations-old hand-crafting techniques complemented by state-of-the-art woodworking equipment.
Their catalog is an abundant selection of superior quality hardwood dining and bedroom furniture, as well as many unique occasional tables, accent pieces and accessories, all available to be custom-built in a variety of unique finishes, and delivered rapidly to the customer.
Cloverleaf Woodworking – Indiana
Cloverleaf Woodworking handcrafts quality bedroom sets and blanket chests. Established in 2000, being family owned and operated, they strive for attention to detail on every product.
They offer thirteen styles of bedroom furniture with more on the way. All products with drawers feature 5/8 inch solid wood dovetailed drawer boxes with full extension slides. Optional undermount soft close drawer slides are available
Countryside Tables – Ohio
Countryside Tables cares about creating pieces that are unique to your tastes. Each table is available in a wide variety of wood species, sizes, and stains. Their impressive collection of options helps you to create the space where you can enjoy great food with friends and family.
D&D Wood Products – Indiana
D&D Wood Products is an Amish furniture shop located in Shipshewana, Indiana. Owned by Dale and Darrin Yoder, D&D Wood Products specializes in building hardwood occasional furniture. Their shop utilizes age-old craftsmanship to produce products that will last for generations to come.
HW Chair – Ohio
Since 1973, Mahlon Hochstetler and son Eli have been producing high-quality home furnishings, components, and millwork. In keeping their commitment to producing a sustainable product, they grow some of the wood we use on their tree farms. To ensure we can fill your orders, they keep an extensive stock of native hardwood species on hand. HW Chair is comprised of experienced craftsmen and women who manage the process from start to finish.
Indian Trail Furniture/J&R Woodworking – Indiana
Leaders in the Northern Indiana furniture industry, Indian Trail and J&R partner together to offer high-quality solid wood bedroom sets.
In every bed built by Indian Trail Furniture, and every case good built by J&R Woodworking, there is quality workmanship that assures many years of endurance. Workmanship seen in the attention to details that make each bed unique and beautiful.
Interior Hardwoods – Indiana
Interior Hardwoods LLC is a branch of Interior Wood Finishing which was founded in 1996 doing finish work for more than 30 different furniture stores across the country. Since 2004, Interior Hardwoods LLC has offered more than 34 different styles of tables, built in a reasonable time frame for our customer’s satisfaction.
God created the tree, Interior Hardwoods creates the tables that come from those trees.
Kidron Woodcraft – Ohio
This Ohio builder specializes in bedroom furniture and a small selection of living room furniture. Some of their best selling pieces come from their rustic and rough sawn collections.
Kountry Knob Tables – Ohio
A quality handcrafted table is the center of any beautiful dining room. Kountry Knob Tables sells a variety of pieces to make your dining room pop and welcoming to all who enter. With over 130 products in their catalog, they have gorgeously built pedestal, trestle, glass top, and mission tables all in varying shapes, sizes, and stains. Kountry Knob Tables also offers a great variety of chairs and benches to pair with each dining table.
Pines Wood Creations – Indiana
Opening their business in 2022, Kevin and Marla Miller wanted a part of their home to be represented in their furniture. Named after the pine trees that grew along their driveway, Pines Wood Creations is located at the edge of Shipshewana, Indiana. They began their business after purchasing the designs of occasional pieces and bookshelves from the former builder Honeybee Furniture. Kevin’s background in manufacturing came from the times he used to build toys and games as a boy. He later went on to build his own home furniture with his wife. Pines Wood Creations’ goal is to build quality hand-crafted furniture with customer satisfaction as their top priority. The quality that comes out of their shop will never be less than what they would want for their own home.
Rock Country Furniture – Indiana
Rock Country Furniture is a young, new company founded in January of 2018. With a fresh perspective, they’ve taken on the bedroom furniture industry to offer both innovative trends and beloved classics. Their main designs heavily highlight the natural tones and textures of American hardwoods.

Signature Woodworks is an Amish furniture shop located in Milford, IN. Owned by Homer Miller and Kenneth Miller, Signature Woodworks specializes in building hardwood bedroom furniture. Their shop utilizes age-old craftsmanship to produce products that will last for generations to come.
Southedge Furniture – Indiana
Marion Bontrager, owner of Southedge Furniture, is a great example of a generational craftsman. Watching his grandfather and father work with wood, he was inspired to join the trade. From there, he created his small woodworking business to offer quality products and customizations.
Superior Woodcrafts – Indiana
